For over a decade, I've had the privilege of growing alongside the Greater Hartford arts community. I started at the GHAC in 2015 working directly with artists, youth, and small organizations – building programs, creating opportunities, providing support, and connecting people to resources. From Neighborhood Studios, to Art on the Streets and PARKing Day, to I Am An Artist Day, and more. That work shaped what I understand about what a creative community needs to thrive.
This work has always been about the people. It's about expanding access, creating pathways, making sure creativity can exist and thrive across our region. I'm grateful to be part of a network of artists, leaders and partners who continue to shape what this community can be, and I'm honored to help lead that work forward.
